    Shiva Das has studied Hatha Yoga since 1986 and been teaching since 1995. His primary training in Hatha Yoga includes the study of the Integral Yoga Tradition of Swami Satchidananda, the ViniYoga Tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya and his son T.K.V. Desikachar.

    Andrew began his study of Tai Chi in 1973 under Maggie Newman. For the past sixteen years, Andrew has researched the application of the principles of Tai Chi to everyday movement, how to become more comfortable living in this body.

    Tilly holds a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing’s Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Program. She has been employed at Penn Health Systems for over 30 years, and has received the “Living the Legend” award from the University’s Alumni Society.

    Barbara is a certified athletic trainer, massage therapist, personal fitness trainer, and wellness lecturer. She leads exercise classes in stretch and tone, aerobics, core work for healthy backs, and yoga.

    Beth Ann Johnson

    Beth Ann has been studying Chinese painting and calligraphy for twenty-seven years and teaching for sixteen years. She teaches the basic techniques, including the traditional “Four Gentlemen,” and continues to develop students’ skills with a large range of other subjects.

    Bob Walovitz teaches supported and standing Tai Chi, and specializes in working with seniors in wheelchairs and those who suffer from dementia. His approach encourages freedom of expression, and his use of music allows each student to respond in his/her own way.
