Ralston Center Names
Barbara L. Phillips
Director of Development
Ralston Center has named Barbara L. Phillips as its Director of Development effective March 27, 2006.
Ms. Phillips comes to Ralston with vast experience in the field having held executive positions in planning and development for several nonprofit institutions. Those institutions include WHYY, Inc., Philadelphia; Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC; and the Allentown Art Museum, Allentown, PA. She also has significant experience in nonprofit management, having served in various positions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She holds a B.A. degree from William Smith College, and completed graduate work toward a Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania.
