Safe Footing: Eight Steps to a Falling-Free Life
Instructor: Clifford Boardman, Falling Prevention, Inc.

Safe Footing will teach you practical footing skills specifically designed to prevent and control slips, trips and stumbles. The program has been very successful in helping people avoid falls due to missteps, and reducing or eliminating fear of falling.

Healthy Aging, Healthy Sex

Sexuality is a key component of human health in any age group. Many seniors still enjoy intimate relationships with their partners, and some find they are newly single and back on the dating scene. This workshop provides practical advice, education, and skill-building techniques for seniors to maintain a healthy sexuality.

Eight Weeks to Nutritional Wellness

Highlights of the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Instructor: Docents from the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Experience the highlights of the Museum’s vast collection of art from Asia, Europe, and the United States through this illustrated lecture program. Spanning over 2,000 years, the collections include masterpieces of painting, sculpture, prints and drawings, displayed with a wide range of furniture, silver, glasswork, architectural elements, and entire furnished rooms from historic houses.

Osteoporosis Education & Bone Screening
Instructor: Robert Pignolo, M.D., University of Pennsylvania Health System

On October 1, in the Osteoporosis Education session, we’ll cover the impact and risk factors of osteoporosis, the way bone loss is measured, and prevention of bone loss. On October 8, a free bone screening will be available for those who attended the October 1 session and who have not had a bone screening in the past five years.
